Attending graduate school at Stanford puts engineering students on a diverse campus near Silicon Valley. The University of California—San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering is home to about 1,350 graduate students who have six broad academic fields in which to specialize. The Jacobs School of Engineering is particularly highly ranked for its bioengineering program, and the school offers Master of Science (M.S.), Master of Engineering, (M.Eng.) and Ph.D. programs.
